In the study, you will watch a series of a videos depicting whole-body dance movements in the form of point-light displays (around 12 seconds each). These videos do not contain sound effects. You will also be asked to complete 2 short questionnaires prior to beginning the experiment.
Your task in this study is to judge which emotion you belive is being expressed through the movements. You will also be asked to indicate how certain you are of your decision and how intense you found the expression of your chosen emotion to be (based on your own subjective experience). There is no right or wrong answer to each question.
At several points throughout the experiment you will also be asked to indiciate whether you observed human motion or not - please pay close attention!
The whole study will take around one hour to complete.
